Veteran British designer Zandra Rhodes created Hieronymus Bosch-inspired prints for Pierpaolo Piccioli’s first solo collection at Valentino. Rhodes has created a series of exclusive prints for Valentino’s Hieronymus Bosch-inspired spring collection, and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s  first solo show at the Italian label.

“They look wonderful. I’ve just this second come out of the showroom with Pierpaolo, I love the fact that he wanted to use me for his first solo collection. It’s very feminine, it’s very gorgeous, I feel very honored,” she gushed to WWD.

“Pierpaolo rang me up, and the whole team came to my studio in London. They chose very particular Zandra Rhodes motifs, wiggles and the way I interpret things like my palm trees and magical animals and magical birds. It just looks like a lovely expression of summer.”
