If there was a word to describe how chic the hair and makeup at the Prada’s Spring/Summer 2017 show, it would be Margot Tenenbaum! A short classic cut with barely-there makeup is the way Prada chose to present their woman, she knows that she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and she believes in her self.
However hairstylist Guido Palau’s true inspiration for the look, Vogue reports, was Virgina Woolf and “’20s-style bob,” meaning seven models got — you guessed it! — backstage haircuts, a repeat of what went on before Alexander Wang’s spring show. “There’s a Virginia Woolf feeling to the hair,” Palau told Vogue. “It’s a palate cleanser, in a way — we’ve seen quite extreme hair and makeup, and this is extreme in its simplicity.”
