Soon we’ll all be checking in at karl’s! Karl Lagerfeld is expanding his empire with a brand new venture. The designer has announced plans to build an international hospitality brand, aptly titled Karl Lagerfeld Hotels & Resorts. The news comes after Lagerfeld inked a licensing deal with Brandmark Collective BV, a company that specializes in hotel development and has launched over 25 new resorts since its conception in 2015. In an official statement, president and CEO of Karl Lagerfeld’s company, Pierpalo Righi said that the move was part of a “greater vision to broaden Karl Lagerfeld’s comprehensive lifestyle experience.” There’s no official word on where Karl’s first hotel will be located, but the rumor mill is currently pointing to somewhere in Asia. Dubai, maybe?!
