I have died and gone to YSL heaven. *so please bury me in the raunchy red leather number.
Monsieur Anthony Vaccarello doesn’t believe in seasons. Whether it’s scorching out, or next level freezing, the designer’s modus operandi remains constant. He is in favour of leather and velvet. He strongly believes in black but throws in accents of gold. He enjoys challenging traditional shapes by distorting them into modern Parisian-girl-about-town slash night-on-the-tiles chic (I adore both equally).
The label’s signature smoking jacket was cropped, and adorns enlarged zebra print lapels. The peasant tops were cut navel-low and their sleeves extended way past the length of the arm; a look Vaccarello completed with tassel earrings and cargo hiking shorts cinched with vertical drawstrings on the sides. The hero seemed to be the leather high-waisted short, which was pared with many of looks and rightly so as they were FAB-U-LOUS.
The showstoppers were the cream puffed mini dresses and fur trimmed frocks turned out in every mini silhouette imaginable, paired with killer feather boots. Peep below our fave looks of the bunch.
