After taking us to the bright lights and supercharged energy of Seoul for Cruise 2016, Chanel is staking a return to the South Korean capital for the Mademoiselle Privé exhibition this June. Taking place at the D MUSEUM, the exhibit seeks to continue the story created by the last Mademoiselle Privé presentation in London in 2015.
Highlighting some of the key pillars of the French brand (which most recently presented its stunning Cruise 2018 show), the exhibition will explore the incredible artistry and heritage behind Coco Chanel’s most famous creations, as well as the reinvention of haute couture under Karl Lagerfeld and the Chanel No. 5 legacy. In addition, the house’s high jewellery comes under focus via the re-edition of the ‘Bijoux de Diamants’ collection which was designed by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932.
Sure to encompass the unique spirit of Chanel’s namesake and founder, and the progressive vision of Karl Lagerfeld, the decision to host Mademoiselle Privé in dynamic and tech-savvy Seoul means it will be an experience like no other. It marks a big year for the luxury label, which recently introduced the Chanel Gabrielle handbag and is set to launch the Gabrielle fragrance in September. Oh, and did we mention the best bit about the exhibition? Entry is free!
Mademoiselle Privé runs from June 23 – July 19, 2017. Book your spot via the Mademoiselle Privé app and find more information at mademoiselleprive.chanel.com.
