I quickly answer a few questions required for all first-time guests, and then I am shown a cozy waiting area with amenities including fresh (and flavored) water, magazines, and Aesop soap.
Inside the treatment room, my technician confidently and professionally explains the Signature Laser Facial, AED795, which is suitable for all skin types. The treatment utilizes the ND:YAG laser, known for its deep-reaching capability and safety. More specifically, controlled delivery of energy to the tissue leads to tighter and thicker skin by stimulating collagen production in the dermal layer. All of my (thorough) questions are answered, and, during the treatment, I appreciate how often my technician checks in with me. My nurse calmly explains what she’s doing, how long it will take, and the level of pain (not much). I also clearly understand the do’s and don’ts of my pre and post-treatment care. There are specific topical ingredients I need to stay away from and a list of essential recommendations for future care. Although one treatment is all my face is available for, I feel it’s worth mentioning Skin Laundry also offers the Fractional Laser treatment, utilizing LASEMD, which provides advanced skin-surfacing with only 12 hours of downtime. This treatment reduces fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation while improving skin texture. The fractional laser targets the surface layer of the skin, stimulating collagen production and creating microchannels that enhance the absorption of their custom medical-grade serums. This results in a smoother, brighter complexion during and up to 6 hours after the treatment.
